"Hyperbole is rarely distant when describing a concert experience. Vague descriptors lose their meaning. Awesome. Incredible. Amazing. We dig into the pockets of our vocabulary in an attempt to convey our experience, and we come up with cliche, recycled answers. A live Blackberry Breeze show brings a different word to mind; one that I've never used or even considered until now—present. Yes, their songwriting is awesome, of course their music and stage presence is incredible, and there's no doubt the energy in the room was amazing, but there's never been a show I've attended where I felt so present—truly in the moment. In a world where our minds are on a perpetual swivel, Blackberry Breeze captures that wandering attention and holds it until the last note."
